Privacy policy

Airea is a marketing and operations platform for real estate agents, operated by Above the Fold in Aotearoa New Zealand ("Airea", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use Airea, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account details — your name, email address, phone number and password (stored only as a secure hash), and the branding you set up (business name, logo, colours, profile photo and title).
• Your listings and marketing content — the realestate.co.nz profile link you connect, listing details and photos you import or paste, and the graphics, reels, letters and campaigns you create.
• Billing information — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We store your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference; we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage information — basic technical and usage data (such as log records and the tools you use) needed to run and improve the service and keep it secure.

How we use your information

• To provide the tools, generate your marketing outputs, and keep your work available to you.
• To manage your account, free trial, subscription and billing.
• To support you, respond to enquiries, and send service-related messages (such as trial reminders and billing notices).
• To secure, maintain and improve the platform.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to run Airea, and only as needed:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — to store your data and run the service.
• Email delivery — to send account and service messages.
• Public listing sources (such as realestate.co.nz) — when you connect a profile or paste a listing link, we retrieve the public listing information you have chosen to bring into your marketing.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Airea, our users and the public.

Storage, security and retention

Your data is stored on secure, access-controlled infrastructure, with per-account isolation so one agent's data is not visible to another. We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can request access to, and correction of, the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, or to close your account, email us at the address below.

Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to run the service securely. We do not use them to track you across other sites.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, let you know within the app or by email.
